First Blog! STEDU's Successes and Next Steps
Welcome to STEDU’s first official newsletter. Above all, we hope this message finds you and your families in the absolute best of health.
STEDU in 2021
The year 2021 was a tumultuous time for everyone. As COVID-19 spread around the world, many businesses were forced to close, and many academic institutions were forced to transition to remote learning; however, STEDU was able to host a variety of events and activities, and, as a result, we were able to impact over 300 students!
STEDU Summer Camp
This year, we attempted a far more difficult task: hosting the world’s first-ever high school and college student-focused startup summer camp with a specific focus in the following areas: business/entrepreneurship, programming/computer science, and design.
“This year, we attempted a far more difficult task... startup summer camp...”
August marked the conclusion of this summer camp, which lasted from June 6th to August 6th. It turned out to be a huge success, and words cannot express our gratitude and appreciation to those who attended. This year’s summer camp was held over Zoom and consisted of 2-3-hour lectures held twice a week over a span of four weeks. We would like to cordially thank JUV Consulting, Crimson Education, and the UI/UX lecturer, Reyna, for leading these sessions.
The STEDU team is working tirelessly to implement new initiatives, schedule various
activities, and recruit new members in order to provide a better learning experience for our
students. At present, we are looking for venture capitalists to join us for Demo Day, which is
expected to be held from September 24th to September 25th. We are also planning to launch a mentorship program that allows current high school and college students to connect with professionals across various industries. In doing so, we hope to further uplift and empower our community of students. More information regarding this, such as the link to sign up, will be disseminated in the coming weeks. Our STEDU Club is also set to launch this October and is essentially a chapter system that allows individuals to educate those within their community using STEDU and its resources. Finally, we have our STEDU Fund program. STEDU is committed to bringing about social change and, for this reason, will be providing other entrepreneurs with money ranging from $1000 to $2000 in an attempt to help them begin their own nonprofit organizations around social change.

Onward and Upward
STEM education for all is STEDU's top priority, and we will continue to do so even in
the face of adversity. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at
